Since home staging is basically preparing a private place of residence to be sold in the real estate market, the objective is to turn the place into something more attractive and appealing to the most number of clients.  Staging helps sell the property faster and at a higher price. Staging techniques improve a property’s charm by renovating, decluttering, furnishing and redesigning. Some agents or real estate firms have virtual staging for budget-conscious buyers.  

Based on a HomeGain survey in 2009, 82% of 1000 respondents utilized professional staging, costing from $300 to $400.  These homes have $1500 to $2000 higher sales prices.
